The League Constitution
Rules last updated 1stJuly 2003 @ an AGM
- All Teams must send a representative to each general meeting. Failure to do so will result in a fine. Fines to be paid at the next general meeting. Any subsequent failure to attend will result in further fines or the deduction of points from the offending team. The representatives are expected to make their opinions known, to vote on any matters arising, and report back to their teams any decisions taken.
- All pool tables and accessories must reach and maintain the standard required by the league.
- A copy of the Fleetwood Pool League rules must be posted in each venue as close to the table as possible.
- The home team captain is responsible for the conduct of their teams and supporters, which should be gentlemanly in all respects.
- The home team should be responsible for all table fees and are expected to supply edible refreshments in the interval between singles and doubles games.
- The league reserves the right to co-opt onto the committee any further members that it sees fit, in an emergency situation.
- Any outstanding debts to the league at the start of any season will disqualify a team from participating in the league for that season.
- The committee's decision's in all matters is final, and it reserves the right to deal with any matter in any way it deems to be correct.
