I accessed this site from work today and the Screen was a 15 " and i noticed that on the some pages including the main page the Recent Comments and Login box are overlapping my League table and there is no scroll bar to see the end colunm of the league table.

Content created on the site ie forum and content pages seem to be fitted into the middle.

Can this be fixed by a setting on the site or do i need to make the table smaller prior to adding it to the site?

I wonder if this was what Billy was on about ?

Is anyone else having the same difficulty ?

Doesnt happen at home as my screen is a whopper !!

Page format

I am aware that some of the pages don't look quite right, specifically the league page doesn't display quite right on smaller screens, as you get the overlap from the blocks on the right hand side. I'm also painfully aware that the site looks horrendous on the iPhone.

I can sort all this out relatively easily, so no worries.

The thing that Billy was on about was the fact that he couldn't see the league table at all, because he is not registered. So rather than registering, he gave up, and then complained about the site being shit at the meeting. I'm gonna make the league table viewable to annoymous users.

I have quite a long to-do list for the site, it's just finding the time to do everything.

Fixed

Ok, so I've basically just made the blocks (login, recent comments, recent forum posts etc etc) visible only on the front page, this gives you a lot more room when you are viewing individual pages. Also, if you go into your account settings, you can choose to hide some of the blocks on the front page, if you so desire.

I've also found an iPhone compatible theme, which I will be installing in the next few days, so that those of use with iPhones can view the site a lot more easily :)

Also, I'm going to upgrade the forums to a proper phpbb forum, as they are 'proper' forums, and a lot better suited for purpose. Although that will have to wait until I move the site onto it's new hosting, which I'm hoping to do at the end of the week.

It's the way the frames are set up on the site, you shouldn't have to alter the size of the content (unless it's stupidly massive....which it isn't)

The frames need to be set so the menus on either side don't take priority over the content in the middle. If you view the site on your 'whopper' at home and resize the window so it goes small you'll see the middle column changing depending on the width of the window.

Speak to Stuart! :)

Yeah

I have done it at home and it seems to be ok, i can make the page really quite small without it effecting the league table, it may have been how the browser was configured at work, just really wondering if anyone else has the problem at home and if so we can advised a solution / prevent it from happening.
